Allison Lucas is Chief of Staff at CIV:LAB, an innovative grant-making network that channels global funds and resources directly to community climate initiatives in New York City and Michigan. Christine Nyawaga is an Assistant Professor of Communication Studies at the Department of Communication and Film, University of Memphis. Her research focuses on the lived experiences of minoritized workers (especially Black) both online and offline, to better advocate for policies that institutionalize diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI).
